Andrew Freiberg

Dr. Freiberg is Chief of the Adult Reconstruction Unit and Vice-Chair, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital. He is also Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Freiberg's education and training include Northwestern University, medical school at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Orthopaedic Residency at the University of Michigan Hospitals and Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital. His clinical interests include all aspects of hip and knee surgery with a focus on minimally invasive techniques. In addition, his research efforts relate to knee kinematics and the study of bearing surfaces.
